Validated Human Brain Cells for BBB, Drug Transport & Neurovascular Research

Cell Systems’ primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells (ACBRI 376) and brain pericytes (ACBRI 498) are optimized for BBB modeling, drug transport, and neurovascular research.
 
These high-viability, early passage cells are isolated without antibody selection and validated across multiple peer-reviewed studies for expression of key markers including CD31, VEGF, IL-6, and miR-296.
 
With proven performance in co-culture, angiogenesis, inflammation, and gene expression assays, they’re ideal for 2D/3D culture, organ-on-chip, and brain cell platforms.
